retail-iD Steals the Match at american golf
8th June 2007
The contract, which began on 1st May, incorporates the sourcing, storage and library management of all american golf's consumables and printed products.
retail-iD's ICT (Information and Communication Technology) department is currently developing a bespoke, automated on-line ordering system for american golf's 70 stores across the UK and Ireland.
Paul Price, retail-iD Managing Director, is pleased to announce this new development in its relationship with the golf retailer: "We have worked with american golf for eighteen months, primarily in printing their retail promotions. It is our intention to move our proposition on to the next level with all of our major clients. We want to provide a whole raft of marketing support services over and above printing. We want to become true marketing partners and this contract takes us closer to achieving that goal."
Zoe Milner, Head of Marketing, at american golf is delighted to be working with retail-iD on this project: "We have decided to outsource our GNFR (Goods Not For Resale) to retail-iD because we want to concentrate our efforts on our core competence of marketing and selling golfing products and services. We have been working with the retail specialists for some time and we're positive that they will tackle this with as much professionalism and enthusiasm as they have with everything else that we have tasked them to do."
